It was fun meeting you at Nicole’s party last night!
Had a look through your site…exactly my kind of esthetic.
The spontaneous beauty of things designed just to be what they need to be,
in happenstance arrangements. Not everyone can see it.
The darker ones of Portland are especially striking.
I go there somewhat often; I have an ex, a brother, and a high school buddy and a dead uncle there. I’ll be there for said brother’s daughters wedding which is June 7…didn’t you say you’d be there too around then?

cheers,
Ben

Good to see you in a mag I’ve read for years. Hope you are a-ok and I’m sorry I missed your show this winter.
Living in Gresham now, blessings and congrats to you!

I thought Vinci board was what you did some of your work on? If not, do you mind my asking what support you use for your work?

Thanks,

Vinci board is a clay coated scratchboard from France that used to be sold as medical illustration board. I haven’t been able to find out any more about it either.

I enjoyed your show at the Froelick Gallery. Congratulations, it looked like all your work sold.

I stumbled across your work sometime last year and like it very much. There’s a very interesting textural quality to it and I’ve always been drawn to urban landscapes. I also like that they’re somewhere between painting and drawing, saturated color and black and white – very unique.

I wonder if you’d mind a question. I’ve searched the web and art supply sites but cannot find anything called da vinci board. What is the support you use?

I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks,

Bill
